Long before now, I learned of a break-in to the Knights of Columbus’ temporary council office in Scottsdale, Arizona. The site is now a historical landmark, not because of the break-in or the Knights of Columbus, but because it was built by the locals nearly 100 years ago and served as church, chapel, boy scout meeting place, and tourist draw. The link below will take you to the story that recounts the events of one weekend in the early 1970s at this historic site. The names have been changed and many of the details and dialogue are merely products of the imagination.
